At MRB Counseling Services, we offer specialized Domestic Violence & Battering Intervention Programs to help individuals break the cycle of abuse and develop healthier relationships. Our bilingual (Spanish and English) therapists provide evidence-based intervention services for those involved in domestic violence situations, whether as perpetrators or victims. Our goal is to foster accountability, education, and behavioural change in a structured and supportive environment.
Trial Summary

If you have been involved in a domestic violence incident and are required to complete an intervention program or anger management counseling, our trained professionals can provide the tools needed for long-term behavioral change.
Our Battering Intervention Program (BIP) is designed to help individuals:

- Understand the consequences of violence and control.
- Develop positive conflict resolution skills.
- Learn emotional regulation and stress management techniques.
- Take responsibility and commit to lasting change.
Process
Assessment & Intake – Individuals undergo an initial evaluation to determine the appropriate intervention plan.
Educational & Therapeutic Sessions – Participants attend structured group or individual sessions, focusing on anger management, accountability, and non-violent communication.
Behavioural Strategies – Clients learn techniques to manage stress, frustration, and relationship conflicts without resorting to violence.
Court-Approved Completion – Our program meets most legal and court requirements, ensuring that participants fulfil mandated domestic violence intervention obligations.

Ongoing Support & Follow-Up – Clients receive resources, referrals, and continued guidance to maintain healthy relationships and prevent relapse.
