FAQs about How MRB Counseling Can Help You

What is a Substance use Evaluation?

Mainly directed to individuals involved in DUI/DWI cases. It’s a detailed inventory of the type, amount, frequency, and consequences of the patient’s substance use, their perception of their use, and readiness to change. Additionally, we review medical and psychiatric history, and assess for co-occurring psychiatric disorders.

What is Substance use Treatment?

This program helps to prevent drug and alcohol abuse and treat people who have encountered the devastation that drugs and alcohol abuse causes. We use specialized knowledge of the complexities of this problem to help individuals get back on the road to a healthy existence. With our help, people may get to understand how the use or abuse of illicit drugs or alcohol could impact their lives in negative ways.

What is Substance use Education?

Education groups are designed to address the needs of individuals dealing with DWI charges. Our group sessions are structured to provide meaningful and useful information on the effects of substance use and abuse in all aspects of their lives.

What are Aftercare Programs?

We offer outpatient-continuing aftercare to clients who successfully completed their program and are still in need of continued supervision and support. Clients who participated in residential programs and those who relapsed are encouraged to participate in aftercare.
