This online information page is for the PSC and DIP online classes. Please read the following information, and if you would like to complete the course online you may enroll by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Point System Conference (PSC) - When you accumulate 5, 6, or 7 points on your driving record within a two year period, the MVA will mail a letter informing you that you have to take the (PSC).

Driver Improvement Program (DIP) - If your license is suspended or revoked you will be required to complete the DIP. If you are guilty of a moving violation while on your Provisional License, you may be required to complete the DIP class. Also, you may need to take it to satisfy a court order.

To complete the PSC or DIP class online:
After you enroll, and know that you will soon be completing the online material,

INSTRUCTIONS - HOW TO COMPLETE THIS ONLINE PROGRAM AND THE FINAL EXAM:

  1. To begin, click the Login/Register button on the menu or click the link at the bottom of the page.

  2. Fill out the Registration form and select the class you are required to take (PSC or DIP).

  3. Review the information and click the “Register” button.

  4. The list of sections will appear. Click on the "Start Course" button to begin learning!

    • To complete PSC you must read online sections 1 and 2.
    • To complete DIP, you must complete online sections 1 through 5.

  5. Complete the material at your own pace. After completing each chapter of the program you will take a short quiz. After passing each quiz you will continue on to the next chapter.

  6. You will take a final examination in person at our facility. You must contact our office to schedule a testing appointment by calling our office at (301)-527-0854. Please do not wait until your due date to contact us for testing. If you call in advance for a testing appointment, the easier it will be to accommodate you.

  7. Pay the required fee and take the test. No checks!

  8. Upon passing the final examination, you will immediately receive your Certificate of Completion.

    *Please note that you can exit and re-enter the program at your own convenience. Our student progress monitoring feature allows you to pick up exactly where you left off.

PAYMENT/TESTING

  • THIS ONLINE CLASSROOM IS FREE. Anyone may gain some knowledge by reading the course content at no cost. HOWEVER, to receive credit for the course and to receive your Certificate of Completion you must take the final exam in person at our office.

  • The costs for the classes are $25 for PSC and $55 for DIP payable when you take the test.
  • We don't charge an extra fee for retesting on any of our courses.

  • THERE IS NO REFUND IF YOU FAIL THE TEST.

  • Payment may be made in cash, credit card, or money order.

  • Testing will be done by appointment. Please note that students should not wait until their due date to arrange for test scheduling. Please contact us no later than 1 week before your DIP/PSC due date to assure that your testing can be accommodated.

  • Approved instructors will administer your test and be available to answer questions regarding the program.

  • A photo ID MUST be shown upon arriving to take the test. If not, no test will be given. Also, please bring your MVA referral letter.

COMPLETION TIME

With our online program, you have the convenience of taking the course at your own pace. There is no minimum time that you must spend on the site. However, you must complete the program by the date listed on your referral letter.

  • If you fail to complete the PSC test by the PSC due date you will be required to take the DIP.

  • If you fail to complete the DIP test by the DIP due date, your license will be suspended.

  • The PSC test is 10 multiple choice questions. The DIP test is 25 multiple choice questions. DIP students must take both tests.

  • The passing grade is 80%. If you fail the test, you can retake the test after 24 hours of the original test, or any subsequent test. There will be a $15 retest fee. Please note that the test(s) are not extremely difficult. Our online practice quizzes can serve as a good review prior to testing.

COMPLETING WRONG CLASS

It is your responsibility to complete the correct program. If you complete the online PSC, but are required by the MVA to complete the DIP, then you will be credited for the amount that you have paid for the online PSC. To complete the online DIP, you will have to pay the difference in cost. If you have completed and passed the PSC test, then you will only have to complete the DIP test. If it is our error that you paid for and completed the online DIP program rather than the required online PSC class, the difference in cost will be refunded. If you only needed to attend a PSC but attended and completed DIP by your own error and insistence, no money will be refunded.

COMPLETION LETTER

After completing the course and passing the final test, you will receive a completion certificate. Please keep this copy for your records. You must score at least an 80% on the test. We notify the Maryland MVA of your completion if you provided a Maryland soundex/license number.


SERVER PROBLEMS

Sites and Servers may have Down Time (heavy traffic) or other unforeseen problems. On most Internet sites, when Down Time occurs, you may see PAGE UNAVAILABLE. This condition usually only lasts for a short period of time.
Down Time can be related to your computer or your Internet connection. In this case you must contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) directly.
Students having difficulties using the Internet or having problems that occur online may call for technical help at the HELP DESK (301)- 527-0854. Leave a message including YOUR NAME, PHONE NUMBER, TIME, DATE & QUESTION. A school representative will return your call as soon as possible.
